For Landlords, dilapidations are a legitimate business expense to recover the costs of returning the property to a tenantable condition. For Tenants, dilapidations are an often hidden cost that they need to prepare for from day one of their agreement.

Whether you’re a Tenant or a Landlord, we provide a personal service, expert advice, and will be with you every step of the way to maximise the chances of you getting the outcome you need.

As our client, you are appointed a Robertson Simpson Director who personally manages the entire process, keeping you fully aware of the potential liability and costs of your dilapidations claim.  We will not pass any claim over to inexperienced members of staff as we limit our active instructions to ensure swift and accurate progress in each case.

We work hard to build trust with our clients and a big part of this is our focus on core areas of specialism. If we don’t specialise in a service, then we don’t offer it. This approach has helped us grow from just three employees in 2003 to where we are today: operating across three strategic locations around the UK and numerous sister companies offering other specialist property-based services, with further exciting growth planned in the coming years.
