All building materials have a life expectancy with all materials subject to deterioration due to weather and atmospheric conditions. A property will depreciate in value if not regularly maintained. Just like a car your building requires regular “Servicing,” without it the building is at risk of unexpected failure which could result in significant costs in-terms of repair/renewal of the element but also the opportunity cost of having a facility out of action. Continued and regular maintenance will not only keep the property in good condition but also give the owner/ occupier a greater knowledge of a property allowing accurate financial forecasting and phased implementation of works and therefore managing expenditure.

At Robertson Simpson Limited we appreciate the financial constraints on landlords and property owners. By preparing a 5 and 10 year Planned Preventative Maintenance programme (PPM), RSL are able to identify future maintenance expenditure assisting in the facilities management and financial resources.
